GUESS WHAT.

No, don't guess, because you are never going to get it. I made biscuits. That's not even the best part -- I made biscuits, and I ate some, and I didn't die. I made loads of them, actually. ~~I think I might have had too many of them but I don't think you can tell~~ So if anyone wants some, I have cookies coming out of my ears.

...not literally.

D'you hear that, Hannah? You can try some of my mum's maid's snickerdoodle recipe now! It's totally safe! They're actually really good, except I ran out of nutmeg halfway through and had to use brown sugar. Which is also good. Next I think I'm going to try cake, which hopefully will not burst into flames ~~like last time~~ not that that's ever happened before, because I'm an awesome chef. As evidenced by these delicious biscuits.

Oh, and I went shopping today because Mr. Chiaroscuro let me off early -- apparently he noticed that I've been ~~SEVERELY DEPRESSED~~ a little put out after my best vermilion scarf was stolen last Wednesday, and not only did I get this LOVELY SHINY JOURNAL that allows me to talk to all of you wonderful people, I got you presents! Jumpers and, for you, Hannah, a skirt. I was going to get you one, Ernie, but I don't know what size waist you are.

Oh, man, these cookies are so amazing.

	It was, I'm sorry. But it is something he'd have said. I actually don't have a dress yet, and I'm in desperate need of one. I was planning on going tomorrow, if you'd like to come? ~~PINK IS GREAT. I CAN DO PINK~~ I don't want to impose, but I would love to. Can it at least be a ruffled pink dress? Ruffles are wonderful. And very in, actually. It's a good thing you're getting married now rather than a few months ago, because last fall ruffles were such a faux pas. But you could totally get away with them now, and pink ruffles are just so fetching. ~~I'm talking too much~~

How did he propose? Was it horrifically romantic?
